Why i have created the list of Poorest Countries in the World is because, We all are living a good life how can I say that because either you are reading this article on your computer or your smartphone with internet access.

You know there are millions of people out there who don’t have access to the internet and computer
they are struggling to get their necessities like clean food, water, and clothes.

So today I am going to list top 25 poorest countries of the world based on per capita income. I have made this list with the help of data from CIA world factbook.

1. Central African Republic| (poorest countries in the world)

Central African Republic is located in Africa and bordered by Chad to the north, Sudan to the upper east, South Sudan to the east, the Democratic Republic of the Congo to the south, the Republic of the Congo to the southwest and Cameroon to the west.

The Country covered a land zone of around 620,000 square kilometers (240,000 sq mi) and had an expected estimated  population 5,625,118 (July 2017 est.)with Per capita income of $700 only.

2. Burundi | (poorest countries in the world)

Burundi is a landlocked nation in the African Great Lakes locale of East Africa, circumscribed by Rwanda toward the north, bordered by Tanzania toward the east and south, and the Democratic Republic of the Congo toward the west.

Burundi’s capital is Bujumbura.Burundi covers 27,834 square kilometers (10,747 sq mi) of area and population is 11,466,756 (July 2017 est.) with per capita income of $800.

3.Democratic Republic of the Congo | (poorest countries in the world)

DEMOCRATIC REPUBLIC OF THE CONGO covers the area of 2,344,858 square kilometers .

It is the second largest country in Africa and 11th in the world by area.

It fourth most populated country in Africa with the population of 83,301,151 (July 2017 est.), and 17th most populated country in the world.

This country lies on the west coast of Africa. English is official language here, and this country covers the area of 111,369 square kilometers (43,000 sq mi)  and has population 4,689,021 (July 2017 est.).

Officially Republic of Malawi, situated in southeast Africa.

It covers the area of 118,484  square kilometers (45,747 sq mi) and has estimated population of 19,196,246(July 2017 est.). Per capita income is $1200 here.

This country with per capita income of 1200$ located in western Africa.

With the estimated population of 19,245,344 (July 2017 est.), This country covers the area of 1,270,000 square kilometers (489,000 sq mi), and more than 80% of its land area is in Sahara desert.

This country is situated in southeast Africa. With an estimated population of 26,573,706  (July 2017 est.), and per capita income of $1300.

This country covers the area of 801,590 square kilometers (309,500 sq mi).

Eritrea has a total area of 117,600 square kilometers (45,400 sq mi) and an estimated population of 5,918,919 (July 2017 est.).This country has a per capita income of $1400.

This country located in east-central Africa and got independence from (North) Sudan in 2011.This country covers the area of 644,329 square kilometers with the estimated population of 13,026,129 (July 2017 est.), it has per capita income of $1500.

Comoros is a small island located at the northern end of Mozambique channel.

With the area of 2,235  square kilometers and an estimated population of 808,080 (July 2017 est.). Per capita income of this country is $1600.

Madagascar is an island country situated in the Indian ocean, off the coast of East Africa.

Madagascar is one of the least develops country according to the united nation.

Togo is a tropical nation whose economy depends upon the agriculture. French is an official language in  Togo, while there are many other languages are spoken as well.

The Gambia is situated in West Africa and surrounded by Senegal except for the coastline on Atlantic ocean at its western land.

It is the smallest country in mainland Africa. Banjul is the capital of the country. The Gambia covers the area of 10,689 square kilometers (4,127 sq mi).

Which makes it most populous country in the Caribbean Community (CARICOM) and the second-most populous country in the Caribbean as a whole. The per capita income is $1800.

16. GUINEA-BISSAU | (poorest countries in the world)

GUINEA-BISSAU is situated in West Africa. Portuguese is official language here. It covers the area of 36,125 square kilometers (13,948 sq mi), with the estimated population of 1,792,338 (July 2017 est.).

The per capita income is $1800.

17. SIERRA LEONE | (poorest countries in the world)

SIERRA LEONE is situated in west Africa. It is bordered by  Guinea to the northeast, Liberia to the southeast and the Atlantic Ocean to the southwest.

This country covers the area of  71,740 square kilometers (27,699 sq mi) and the estimated population of  6,163,195 (July 2017 est.). The per capita is $1800.

GUINEA is situated on the western coast of Africa. The official language is French here.

RWANDA is located in central Africa, and it is one of the smallest countries on the mainland Africa. Kigali is the capital of the state.

This country covers the area of 26,338 square kilometers, with the estimated population of  11,901,484 (July 2017 est.).

The per capita income here is $2100.

25. BENIN | (poorest countries in the world)

BENIN is located in West Africa. Porto-Novo is the capital of the country.

French is the official language. Benin covers the area of 112,622 square kilometers with the estimated population of  11,038,805.

The per capita income here is $2200.
